How do a get a quote for my job?
Just send me an email or give me a call and I'll be happy to talk through what you need. I may ask you to send photos and/or measurements. For local jobs, I may well be able to pop over and take a closer look at what you need doing before I offer you a quote. You can also fill in this form if that's easier for you. I aim to get back to all messages within 24 hours.
Will you bring all the tools and materials needed?
I will bring my own tools and dust sheets with me. If your job requires paint/wallpaper I will ask you to choose and buy that yourself and have it ready at your home for when we start work. That way you get exactly what you want and any leftover paint/paper will be yours for future touch-up.
What area do you cover and do you charge for travel?
I'm based in Chippenham and happy to cover within a 10 mile radius from SN15 for your job free of charge. For clients more than 10 miles away I charge a flat fee of 40p per mile for travel.
I have pets in my home – is that ok?
Yes, I love animals and am happy being around them! We may just need to keep your pet away from any chemicals/fumes depending on the job. Furry friends will also need to be kept away from any fresh paintwork until it is dry.
Will I have to move furniture out of the way?
I will bring dust sheets to protect your home. Where a large piece of furniture is in the way though, I may need some help to move it out of the way. Please move any fragile items out of the area before we start work.
I love what you did – can I send you a reference?
Yes, please do! I'd love to hear from you if you are happy with your completed work – you can send me an email with your comments. I may also take before/after photos of the work to use on my website/social media but will of course ask your permission first.
I'd like my car detailing – what products do you use?
I can offer everything from a thorough hand wash and polish to a mopping service which will return the clarity of colour and shine to your paintwork. I use 3M bodyshop-standard products and the Dodo Juice wash and valet range (the best I've used in many years of experience!).
Can you dispose of rubbish/garden waste?
I'm afraid this is not something I offer at the moment. I am happy to do gardening jobs, but the clippings will need to go in a home garden bin at the property. For larger jobs requiring waste/rubble removal I usually suggest the home owner books a skip and collection for this.
